Never use an extension cord. Only use the product on a direct power source.

Installation
5.1.
Installing the product

Choose a suitable location for the product, taking into account all the warnings mentioned in this manual.

Place the product on a stable, flat, heat and moisture resistant surface with a minimal of 50 cm free space around the product.
3.
Plug the power cord 7 into a power outlet.

lights up at half of the brightness. The product is now in standby mode.
6.
Use
All the lights on the display 3 dim to half of the brightness when the buttons are not pressed for 10 seconds.
The product emits a beep each time a button is pressed.
6.1.
Using the product

Press the power button e to switch on the product.
The fan 6 starts spinning. The heating element 2 switches on. The power icon ![210067 04058 Duux - Edge Heater_icon_Power.ai]()
lights up at full brightness.
The product resumes the selected settings from previous use.
When the product is used for the first time, the product starts at heating power level III and thermostat level II. The cooling mode and horizontal oscillation are inactive.
2.
Press the power button e to switch off the product.
The product emits a double beep sound. The power icon ![210067 04058 Duux - Edge Heater_icon_Power.ai]()
starts flashing at full brightness.
The fan 6 keeps spinning for approximately 30 seconds after switching off the product to cool the heating element 2 .
Afterwards, the product enters standby mode. The power icon ![210067 04058 Duux - Edge Heater_icon_Power.ai]()
dims to half of the brightness.

When the ambient temperature exceeds the thermostat threshold, the heating element, fan, and horizontal oscillation stop. The product remains active, continuing to monitor the ambient temperature and automatically resumes operation once the temperature is below the set threshold.
The heating indicator i lights up when the product is actively heating. When the thermostat is activated, the heating indicator i is off when the ambient temperature is above the thermostat threshold.
6.4.
Activating the cooling mode

The cooling indicator q lights up. The fan blows at maximum speed. The heating element is inactive. The heating level and thermostat level indicators 9 t switch off.

6.5.
Activating horizontal oscillation

Press the oscillation button u to start the horizontal oscillation.
The horizontal oscillation indicator u lights up. The product starts rotating from side to side.

Press the oscillation button u to stop the horizontal oscillation.
The horizontal oscillation indicator y switches off. The product stops rotating from side to side.
6.6.
Tip-over protection
The product is equipped with a tip-over protection which automatically switches off the product when the product tip-over. The power icon ![210067 04058 Duux - Edge Heater_icon_Power.ai]()
starts flashing at full brightness and the product switches to standby mode.
When the tip-over protection is activated, the product must be reset:
1.
Place the product back in an upright position on a stable, flat, heat and moisture resistant surface with a minimal of 50 cm free space around the product.
2.
Press the power button e to exit safety mode.
The product returns to standby mode.
3.
Press the power button e to switch on the product.
6.7.
Overheating protection
The product is equipped with an overheating protection which automatically switches off the product when the ambient air temperature is higher than 40°C. The product switches back on when the ambient temperature is lower than 30°C.

Cleaning

Clean the product every week.

Clean the outside of the product with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

When the product is not used for multiple months, please clean all the components.

Warranty
Duux products have a 24-month guarantee from the time of purchase, provided that they are installed and maintained correctly as indicated in this user manual. Warranty will be void if the product has been improperly operated, stored or used other than described in this manual. This includes opening the device and water damage.
Claims under the guarantee must always be made via the supplier of your Duux product. Products with a defect caused by the production process and within the guarantee period after purchase will be assessed by Duux.

Veiligheidswaarschuwingen en -voorschriften
WAARSCHUWING
Gevaar voor elektrische schokken:

Laat kinderen nooit zonder toezicht onderhoud plegen. Geef kinderen van tevoren eenvoudige instructies over het gebruik van het product en houd altijd toezicht.

Plaats het product nooit direct onder een stopcontact. Het product kan heet worden tijdens het gebruik. Houd de ruimte boven het product altijd vrij van voorwerpen en stopcontacten.
Laat het product of het netsnoer nooit stoffig worden. Maak het product en het netsnoer regelmatig stofvrij.
Gebruik het product nooit als er zichtbare tekenen van schade aan het product zijn.
Explosiegevaar:
Gebruik het product nooit in de buurt van ontvlambare of explosieve stoffen of brandstoffen. Ontvlambare of explosieve stoffen of brandstoffen kunnen een explosie veroorzaken. Gebruik het product alleen in een schone en goed geventileerde ruimte.
Verstikkingsgevaar:
Laat kinderen nooit met het verpakkingsmateriaal spelen. Houd het verpakkingsmateriaal buiten het bereik van kinderen.
VOORZICHTIG
Risico op zuurstoftekort:
Gebruik het product niet in kleine ruimtes waar mensen aanwezig zijn die de ruimte niet zelfstandig kunnen verlaten, tenzij er constant toezicht is. Gebruik het product altijd in een goed geventileerde ruimte.
Risico op brandwonden:
Raak nooit hete oppervlakken aan. Het product kan heet worden tijdens het gebruik. Laat het product altijd afkoelen alvorens het op te pakken.
Laat kinderen nooit zonder toezicht alleen als het product in gebruik is en laat ze niet met het product spelen. Houd altijd toezicht op kinderen wanneer het product in gebruik is.
Valgevaar:
Laat het netsnoer nooit over de rand van een tafel of werkblad hangen. Iemand kan over het snoer struikelen of per ongeluk aan het snoer trekken. Leg het netsnoer altijd op een stabiele en vlakke ondergrond.
LET OP
Kortsluitingsgevaar:
Gebruik het product nooit als het is gevallen, in contact is gekomen met water, defect is of als het snoer of de stekker beschadigd is. Breng het toestel naar het dichtstbijzijnde erkende servicepunt voor onderzoek, reparatie of aanpassing.
Gebruik nooit een verlengsnoer. Gebruik het product alleen op een directe stroombron.
Gebruik nooit stopcontacten die niet overeenkomen met de voedingsspanning van het product. Controleer de spanning op het typeplaatje van het apparaat voordat je het product gebruikt. Sluit het product alleen aan op stopcontacten die overeenkomen met de spanning van het product. Als je niet zeker weet of de aansluitingen aan de eisen voldoen, raadpleeg dan een elektricien of je elektriciteitsleverancier.
Sluit nooit een ander apparaat met een hoog stroomverbruik aan op dezelfde groep. Beperk het gebruik van producten met een hoog stroomverbruik die op dezelfde groep zijn aangesloten.
Gebruik het product nooit in een vochtige omgeving. Gebruik het product altijd in een schone en droge omgeving.
Open het product nooit zelf voor onderhoud. Dit product mag alleen door een erkende technicus worden geopend voor onderhoud.
Laat het product nooit vallen en vermijd stoten. Overmatige trillingen kunnen leiden tot losgeraakte verbindingen en kunnen de goede werking van het product beïnvloeden. Stop het gebruik van het product als het is gevallen.

Protección antivuelco

comienza a parpadear con la luminosidad total y el aparato cambia al modo en espera.
Cuando la protección antivuelco está activada, es necesario restablecer el aparato:

Vuelva a colocar el aparato en posición vertical sobre una superficie estable, plana y resistente al calor y la humedad con un mínimo de 50 cm de espacio libre alrededor.

Pulse el botón de encendido e para salir del modo de seguridad.
El producto vuelve al modo de espera.

Protección contra el sobrecalentamiento
El producto está equipado con una protección contra el sobrecalentamiento que apaga automáticamente el producto cuando la temperatura del aire ambiente es superior a 40 °C. El producto vuelve a encenderse cuando la temperatura ambiente es inferior a 30 °C.

Toutes les lumières de l'écran 3 s'éteignent à la moitié de la luminosité lorsque les boutons ne sont pas enfoncés pendant 10 secondes.
Le produit émet un bip chaque fois qu'un bouton est enfoncé.

Le produit reprend les paramètres sélectionnés lors de l’utilisation précédente.
Lorsque le produit est utilisé pour la première fois, le produit démarre au niveau de puissance de chauffage III et au niveau de thermostat II. Le mode de refroidissement et l'oscillation horizontale sont inactifs.

Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation e pour éteindre le produit.

commence à clignoter à pleine luminosité.
Le ventilateur 6 continue de tourner pendant environ 30 secondes après avoir éteint le produit pour refroidir l'élément chauffant 2 .

commence à clignoter à pleine luminosité et le produit passe en mode veille.
Lorsque la protection anti-basculement est activée, le produit doit être réinitialisé :

Garantie
Les produits Duux bénéficient d’une garantie de 24 mois à compter de la date d’achat, à condition qu’ils soient installés et entretenus correctement, comme indiqué dans ce manuel d’utilisation. La garantie sera annulée si le produit a été utilisé, stocké ou utilisé de manière incorrecte, en dehors de ce qui est décrit dans ce manuel. Cela inclut l’ouverture de l’appareil et les dommages causés par l’eau.
Les réclamations au titre de la garantie doivent toujours être faites auprès du fournisseur de votre produit Duux. Les produits présentant un défaut causé par le processus de production et pendant la période de garantie après l’achat seront évalués par Duux.

Élimination
Si le produit est défectueux, veuillez contacter votre fournisseur. Il est peut-être encore possible de réparer le produit. Si vous devez quand même mettre le produit au rebut, veuillez suivre les réglementations locales.
Pour éviter tout dommage éventuel à l’environnement ou à la santé humaine dû à l’élimination incontrôlée des déchets, recyclez le produit de manière responsable afin de promouvoir la réutilisation durable des ressources matérielles.
